I’d run synthetic. You can get it just as cheap as the FoMoCo syn blend so why not?

I’d be more worried about the water pump in that engine since it dumps coolant into the sump when it fails. Have you kept up with coolant changes to keep the water pump bearings happy? Not trying to hate, I love the EB 3.5 but that water pump design is a suicide bomb in each and every unit.

Yeah I added a bit over 6qt. I just eyeball the "gauge" on the side of the jug. Give me a few days to come up with a reasonable MPG estimate... I had to go flog it a bit after I warmed her up :)

Oh well. Still cheaper than the quick change place by far. The EP is a couple dollars more on the initial purchase price as well, so the net gain is maybe $2 a jug?
