Normally, I do a 10K oci but I was about to take a trip and changed early. I have been using Castrol Syntec since the first oil change and will most likely always be a fan of the brand. It has done me very right in this vehicle and in a '96 Jeep Cherokee that I had. I'm now using Castrol Edge...

    Rotella T6 5W-40, 3,200mi, Yamaha V-Star 1300

This is my first UOA and my first run of Rotella T6 through my bike. I'm pretty satisfied with what I see here. Previous oil was Amsoil 10W-40. I will try to do another UOA after taking this oil to 5,000, both to see how it's holding up and for a more pure analysis. David

    Castrol Syntec 5/30, 11529 miles, 2007 Matrix

It is a shame Castrol doesn't get more respect. Real world experience with 2 separate vehicles has made me a Castrol devotee for life. GTX took my '96 Cherokee to 378,218 miles (a head-on collision stopped that momentum)and Syntec has my TSX at 227,000 miles and going strong. I have an '08...

    Cherokee 4x4

Wow! Seeing this post broke my heart. We have a Jeep identical to this one and, at the time of the head-on collision that totalled it, it had 378,218 miles on it. I praise Castrol GTX 10w30 for getting it there and it was still running strong though it did leak oil. I really wanted to see how...

Hello, I just joined up to announce my impending love for Castrol Edge. I haven't used any yet but, that will change with my TSX's next change. I'm positive it will be a great relationship. I have been a fan of Castrol for over 10yrs now. After Castrol GTX 10w30 taking my '96 Jeep Cherokee to...
