    ATF Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 1996

    11 - 14.5 quarts depending on which tranny you have. 4 - 4.5 quarts for a pan drop. ATF+4 will work with either the Chrysler or Toyota based transmissions. You can't go wrong with Amsoil ATF or any good synthetic that will exceed ATF+4 specs.

    You should have good luck with ATF Amsoil. We use it as upgrade in our shop all the time. The results are phenominal. It has carried even a few crippled trans until rebuild.

    EAO20 in place of EAO13

    Referring to the Wix counterparts for both the EaO13 and the EaO20, they both have the same by-pass relief settings. If you don't plan on plugging up your filter, I say go for it. The 20 surely has a larger capacity than the 13.
