Perhaps this has been covered before..I needed to look up some info on Mitchells 1 and noticed the Cadillac line of cars recommend the oil changes be done every 25,000mi useing 5.5-8 qts depending on the size of the motor..I find it hard to understand how, for example, 5.5 qts of oil can be good...

drained both my '80's subi and vw with both cars useing the G-05..the rad and rubber and metal pipes are absolutely clean..except for some "chalky" type substance that developes where ever a hose clamp is used..pull the rubber hose off the metal pipe and the pipe is covered with this white...

sorry if this has been covered before..looking at the MSDS for both the G-05 and Asian coolants RTU (50/50), ..what is the difference between the two products ..both have the same glycol(s) at slightly different percentages from one another,.. both share the same organic acid NJTS#s

concerning coolants..do silicates have to be listed in the MSDS reports..sometimes when reading the spec or info sheets, silicates, can be written up as an ingredient outlining its benefits etc...but when looking at the MSDS, there is no mention of it
