    Hankook DynaPro ATm

I had these put on my F150 when I picked it up. It seems to me so far (2400 km) to be a decent tire. Grip is decent in snow/dry pavement. It definitely isn't a winter tire though, I've noticed a fair bit of slip when driving on ice.

    Ford WSS-M2C930-A Specifications

I was mostly digging through store shelves, and some oils (like PP) meets Ford 945-A spec....not the 930-A Spec... Maybe a weird batch? For example, PYB meets 945/946 spec, but not 930-A. PP - 945/946 specs Amsoil OE 5w20 - Meets 930-A Spec; Amsoil XL 5w20 does Petro-Canada 5w20 (conv and syn)...

    Ford WSS-M2C930-A Specifications

Hey, I'm looking into information about the the oil Ford has spec'ed for a 2011 F150, 5.0L V8. It's a 5w20, and any oil used (to keep warranty) is suppose to have an API Certification (starburst) and meet/exceed Ford-WSS-M2C930-A specs. Doing some research on my own, I've found Mobil 1...

Mixing Formula Shell and Amsoil Oe

The engine is the 3.0 Vulcan out of a Ford Taurus.pretty much bulletproof if you take care of it. Driving style is almost all highway, with fifty km a week in city, four hundred km of highway, and sitting for four days. My main reason for the switch is to not be as concerned jefe the car goes...

Mixing Formula Shell and Amsoil Oe

While I don't anticipate an issue, I'm looking into mixing three litres of Amsoil OE 5w30 with three litres of Formula Shell 5w30. Primary purpose is for cold weather performance, extra protection, and a safety gate if I am unable to change my oil on time. What's the thoughts on this? Amsoil was...

    Buying from Amsoil online

Quick question for those of you in the know. I'm purchasing Amsoil from their online store. It offers the potential to pick up from their warehouse in my town (Edmonton, AB). Will I incur shipping charges to have it shipped to their warehouse in town? Or, will I be able to pick it up within a...

    LED replacement for H3 bulbs

I currently have a spare set of lights that use H3 bulbs in my car. Unfortunately, the bulbs do not last long and quickly die out within a few months of use. Is there a LED replacement that can be purchased for them? Would it be easy to retrofit an LED to fit in and shine? Key bit, anything...

    Synlube MSDS

Here's a quick thought, If someone PM's me, I have the link (that I'll post up afterwards) to an alleged Synlube Lube-4-Life user since the early 2000's. A bit of digging led me to that individual being the only person with the last name in that town. So, if someone in California doesn't mind...

    GPS - TomTom or Garmin?

I've had great success with my bottom of the line Garmin that I have. I haven't chosen to update my maps, and haven't found it to be that detrimental. When I...
