I am about to order a case of Amoils XL. My new car requires 5w20, my older acura with 172k miles requires 5w30. But I just wanted to get one case, would switching to 5w20 with so many miles cause a issue? Leaks?

I have been using Amsoil SSO in my 2001 Acura TL for the last 3 oil changes. I do alot of short trips and change the oil ever 6 month. The car has 150k. I dont have my preffered account anymore. So the price of SSO is pretty steep. Any suggestions on what to use? Has anyone used Edge?

I did a oil change in my 2001 TL in October at 125k. Today the car has 132k. I did change out the oil filter at 130k, and added 1/3 quart of SSO. I know color is not a indication of when to change. But the oil is fairly dark. Should I go to 135k? Oil filter I use is Pure One.
