Amsoil OE & ALM 5w20 questions

Its been awhile since I have posted, hope everyone is doing well.
I have been a long time Amsoil user and about to place another order..
First car is my 2001 Acura TL with 171k. Oils used in the past are AMSOIL Signature Series for like 2 changes and last 2 or 3 changes ASL5w30. This car is driven about 6k per year, but will get the most miles driven in winter. And being in WV it can get harsh. Should I stick to ASL, or move down to XL or OE 5w30??

Second car is my 2010 Acura TSX V6, in here I have used Amoil XL and my light goes off about once a year for a change, my question is would I gain anything by using ALM 5w20 once a year vs using Amsoil XL???

Id say go with the OE or the XL. in a 6k mile interval those two will be more than adequate, as well as save you money. with OE being half the price of SSO i see no benefit in a 5-10 interval. if you were running 10-15k miles id say splurge for the SSO. I Vote OE or XL. Good luck!

With so little driving, and cold starts I would be concerned with fuel dilution. Try running XL 6 months and send a oil sample out

You will be fine with the OE or XL. Since you don't have a turbo engine I wouldn't spend the extra dough for SSO.

Thanks all, I was looking at the advance auto adds and $30 for 5 qts and Mobil 1 filter seems tempting too.
