i received my FP3000 and LC20 last week. it took many emails and a phone call to get a straight answer from them, and this dialogue lasted for over a week. it had turned out that they had some issues with their latest batch of LC20 (which they didn't tell me until i called), which i had ordered...

after much email banter, i had come to discover that they hadn't shipped out my order last thursday due to quality control issues with LC20, which i had bought along with the FP3000. mine was just picked up by fedex tonight, and should receive it by monday, i expect. honestly, i don't mind...

for those that received their order, did you order FP3K only, or did you order it with LC20?

this seems very odd to me, since i live in Texas, and I still have yet to receive the package. i guess we'll see though...

I am definitely in the minority here. i drive an 04 WRX STi, and i only get around 20 mpg. haha. but then, i have qutie a bit of fun driving, and go WOT as well as hit redline on a regular basis. hard not to in this car. heh.

i have to say that my 2004 STi is probably the funnest car i have ever driven.

just nabbed a gallon of FP3000 and LC20.

all i can say is i have a smile every time i drive my car. :]

that mileage is pretty nice - i drive an STi, and can only get about 21 mpg at my best, usually stays around 19-20 though... heh

do you know if your turbo is oil and water cooled, or cooled only with oil? that can have a bearing on the type of oil you use. for example, on my STi, the turbo is oil and water cooled. dino is fine for the car - but i still do 3k OCI's just to make sure.

this is interesting. i have used the cheapest 5w30 on my STi... it is a 2.5L turbo. should i be more concerned? i do religious 3k OCI's though.

i have the kdw-2's on my 04 STi, and i find them to be excellent tires. they will loose traction in the wet if you gun it enough, but that's with pretty much any tire. they do well in the wet as far as i can tell, and are quite superb in the dry. they are a bit on the noisy side though, mine...

you want to set the air pressure to the appropriate level, not just the highest written on the tire sidewall. your observation is correct. higher pressure causes a stiffer ride, but in general gives a more precise feel to turn-in and a feel in 'response' i generally inflate my tires to a bit...
