Counted 96 quarts XD3, 24 qts Amsoil 2000, 18 qts Q Synthetic, 48 Penzoil Platinum,4 Syntec blend.

Maybe you should try a run of the XD3 and see what kind of numbers you would get. This motor is really hard on the oil.

VA3 I am sure am glad I took up your offer on the amsoil on clearance in st.catherines. I was there the same day and bought 24 litres of it. I am going to try it next in my civic.

OK guys I have to agree with Patman for sure. In all the vehicles I have owned, I never let them idle. Just start and go, I take it easy of course till it gets to normal operating temp and have never had problems. My last car was a 1990 Toyota Celica GTS Turbo and it had over 450,000KM on it...

Pat , its too late I already have 80 litres of it stock piled. I am waiting to see what a UOA will tell.

Why us anythng other than XD3?????

The Shell closed down in the summer because a new Flying J truck stop will be opening in the next year or so because of its prime location. Pats' right it is less then 5 minutes from our subdivision.
