What viscosity are you all running in the 2.0 tucsons? The cap says 5w20 but I’ve seen that you can run 5w30 and even 10w30

I recently changed the battery and alternator on my sister in laws 2012 Honda civic 1.8 and now the check charging system light comes on intermittently. I tested the battery and alternator and they’re both fine and charging. Possible bad battery sensor? Possible faulty new alternator??

…at least for the 6607 and 7317 versions. I think this may be a better style; maybe the bypass won’t leak anymore

Is there any snake oil or such that’ll clean out the carbs on my echos? They always run rough on first start with a lot of smoke. After some time it leans out some and runs better. I assume there is varnish or something in the carb thanks

Has anyone cut open the new wix xp? From what I know, they went from the full synthetic media to just a synthetic blend media like the pure one oil filters.

Has anyone here used this Mazda filter on their Hondas? Seems the consensus is that Toyo Roki filters are top tier, and this filter N3R1-14-302 crosses to the Wix 57356 size which is also for Honda.

These will work just fine for my CRV for 3-5k. Price is too good not to snatch them up

Was at a local RI Walmart and found some random Endurance sizes on clearance for $1 each! The only size I could use would be the FE6607 for my Hondas, but I decided against it since they’re the smaller size vs the FE7317. Went back to the filter isle and there were no Endurance filters to be found.

Seems like ever since the temp has dropped, my crv has rattled on start up. I recently changed the oil and filter; Valvoline R+P and an 84356. As others have stated, maybe the adbv is bad? If that’s the case, I think I’ll pick up an OEM Honda filter and try that. The VTC actuator was rencently...

Looks like Premium Guard is taking over the store brand filter department everywhere now. No issue with this, except what Napa is charging…but that’s nothing new

This filter was on my 2014 CRV 2.4 for about 3k using Valvoline R+P. Filter seems dark for 3k but the grit in the filter shows the oil is doing something. I again used Valvoline R+P but went with a Carquest Blue 84356. I’ll run this combo again for 3k

Does anyone have access to a shop manual for this car so I can have the correct clearances before I tear down the fit? Thanks
