BMW approved 0W-20 for N20 turbo four cyl.

As stated, turbo engines don't necessarily produce that much more peak cylinder/journal pressure/load. They do produce peak pressure for a much longer period. (Maximum Boost - Corky Bell.) Making a blown engine run well on thinner oil is just a matter of increasing journal/bearing area...

Super sludge in a 4.0 jeep engine, need advice.

You might want to install an oil pressure gauge. That would give you some hope of spotting a clogging intake screen before the entire engine starves and dies.

    First bike 1979 Suzuki GS750

Good old UJM! A bit 'truckish' by today's standards, but fully capable of spirited riding. I'd use whatever dino 15w-40 is on sale every 1000 miles or so. May benefit from a front spring upgrade. 'Progressive' are better than stock, but straight rate-springs generally handle better. Looks...

    Transmission cooler substitute?

Yes, a basic transmission cooler will work fine. Make sure the diameter is at least as large as the stock oil cooler. Most engines have a bypass built in to the oil system, usually just a large orifice that forces some of the oil through the cooler. If the cooler is restrictive, the oil is...

    5W30 instead of 0W20

Won't hurt a thing. I'll bet that identical Corollas that wind up being exported to Australia are specified to run Xw-30 or thicker. The mileage impact will be some tiny fraction of one MPG that will be more than offset by the warmer weather of Spring.

    Mobil1 10W40 HM for 240K Honda?

Using M1 will the filter outlast oil?

Unless your engine is a recovering sludger or is in the process of self-destructing, either of those filters will laugh at 10K. I chopped a Pure One at 10K and it was in as-new mechanical shape. (Granted, it was run on a sedately driven Accord.) Your candidate filters are, if anything, even more...

    Which oil is recommended, 211,000mi.?

You might try something like M1 0w-40, GC 0W-30 (a thick 30w), various, somewhat rare, 0/5W-50 oils, or similar. Some of Redline's stuff also combines good cold flow and high HTHS. http://www.redlineoil.com/content/files/tech/Motor%20Oil%20Product%20Data.pdf The combination of 0W and Syn...

How do I calculate HTHS if mixing oil????

Mixed viscosity is pretty much proportional to the ratios of the oil multiplied by their viscosity. Assume 3 quarts of 3.0 and 1 qt of 5.4 gives.. ((Q1xV1) + (Q2xV2)) / Total quarts. (3x3) + (5.4x1) /4 (9 + 5.4) / 4 = 3.6 (Or close enough that it probably doesn't matter.)
