Tractor use is mixed, it's the smaller of their two units. This one is mostly used for shredding, as a back hoe, and to disc/plow smaller areas. They also have a bucket in the front for moving piles of debris/dirt, etc. I think the Zinc & Phosph are so high because it's a 97 model. No worry...

I was towing in OD. In lots of cases it was up/down hills so it was downshifting into a lower gear anyway. I would not have expected to drop OD for such light weight.

I was wondering the same thing. I do know the new model is now a v-twin, so hopefully it was just to upgrade the line. Mine is the B&S Intek model 310000, 500cc, 16.5HP. Had I known they were coming out with a V-twin version I probably would have held out.
