I also have a 2450. I believe the factory rpm is 3600 and 5 hp. The higher powered Snow Commanders and CCR3650 are rated at 6.5 hp and they achieve it by bumping the rpm up to 4000. So easy trick, increase your rpm to 4000 and you now have the high powered version! Throws snow like a champ!

definitely give one of the new, simple to use, spray on hybrid ceramic wax options a try. Turtle Wax or the Griots 3 in 1 have both given me great results. I doubt I will ever spend time rubbing a wax or sealer on and off a car...ever again.

55 Chevy owner's manual says change oil every 2000-3000 miles and if equipped with an oil filter to change it every 6000 miles. Many forget the ridiculous amount of fluid changes and lubrication needed on those older cars! Numerous 1000 mile lubrications required plus all kinds of inspections.
