WWYD: N63 : Break in Oil

I haven't even cracked open the plastic on the manual I was also considering doing it @ dealer. The cost is actually the same for the oil change to some degree. And the OCI would be documented. It's actually about the same cost in materials somewhat vs. dealer.

N63 - current *22* version - B44T3. While not necessary, I'm going to do a break in oil change on it . 300 miles away from hitting 1500 miles. WWYD. Stick with factory oil since I'm in warranty or the tried and true Castrol 0w40

    Volume Markings on 5L Jugs

Ha . Maybe I'm just getting old. Can you actually see the oil level on the volume marking on the 5L jugs. Just did a OCI with 0W40 Castrol. I looked at it in the sunlight, thought I was going crazy. Took a flashlight and held it at a 45 degree angle, etc. I could not make out the oil against the...

Lube for tire plugging / best plug brand

Is there some sorta best use date on the plugs. I've got SS kits in all our rides, and just put them into the new car when the old one get's replaced. I've probably used it a 3-4 times at most. Just enough to keep me going, as I always get a patch done. If it's `bad` new rubber it is...

    Liqui Moly - Feedback

LM was never on my radar but recently have been buying parts on the whim - and LM gear , atf, etc came on my radar as easy -next day delivery- options. Generally for all things diff, I tend to go with Amsoil SVG. For atf, or transfer case, I generally stick with OE/OEM equivalents. With that...
