    Kim Chi !

I'm a big kim chi fan. A Korean restaurant near me has sushi rolls with kim chi. They're delicious. They also serve it hot in a stew with pork, tofu (which I ask them to skip), and a spicy broth. Kim Chi ji gae (sp?) is what it's called I think. It's also one of my favorites. And yes, the gas...

My Wife Made 200 Egg Rolls Today (w/Pic)

Those look like the Hmong style egg rolls I get locally once in a while. I like the chicken ones, and they do have mung bean, and a crispy wrapper. A local Thai/Lao restaurant also has them, but they're skinnier. Taste similar though. They also serve fresh rolls, which have chicken, lettuce...

    Steaming burgers in a pot

I do something similar a couple times a year, but on a much larger scale. For family reunions, I have chef duties. Works well because I don't have to socialize much, and I can make things to my taste, which everyone else seems to like too. After grilling burgers, I have a Nesco roaster with the...

    Lean Cuisine/TV dinners

My buddy eats Lean Cuisine once in a while, and I remember seeing the tiny little container of actual food that was engulfed in a huge cardboard box, and thought to myself, I've seen larger portions of single-serving cat food. No wonder they're low in calories, there's nothing to them! I'd have...

    Best oil for 2003 V-Rod?

Ok, so this is weird... After putting a few miles (roughly 1000) on my change to Mobil 1, it's starting to get better than when I first changed it. Is this even possible??? Shifting feels great, clutch is nice and smooth, and it just seems really nice. I can't fathom how oil could get better...

    Hot sauce

The hottest (commercially available) sauce I ever had was Blair's "After Death" sauce. Puts Dave's Insanity Sauce to shame. Left the bottle at work, and one of the guys who claimed to be able to handle any hot sauce poured a stripe of it on his hot dog. He just about went into shock! That...

    Hot sauce

Marie Sharp's "No Wimps Allowed" is pretty interesting. And by interesting I mean two drops on a hamburger almost ruined it. My boss brought me back some from Belize when he was there. One of the more wicked hot sauces in my collection. I love Louisiana original on microwave pork rinds. Hot...

    Salsa

Coincidentally, one of my co-workers brought some chips and GV salsa to work today. I realize everyone's taste is different, but I wasn't impressed.

    Salsa

Pace is very bland compared to Renfro's. Give it a try sometime.

Do they sell Hamms beer where you live??

That's what has me so puzzled. Of the beers I mentioned, they're all of similar alc. content. Why one brand would make a very seasoned consumer of mass quantities of beer react so much differently than another is what has me scratching my head.

Anyone tried 87 octane in a Harley?

You'd have to determine your compression ratio to make sure, but based on your mods, I wouldn't run anything less than premium just to be safe. My '06 liked a little race gas (Citgo 110 octane leaded) when it was really hot out. Ran much smoother under load compared to pump gas. Not to mention...

Do they sell Hamms beer where you live??

I should have been more specific... Hamm's Special Light is what I was referencing in my comment. I prefer a light beer. Still, light for light, Hamms Special Light will still get you just ridiculously hammered compared to a comparable amount of Busch Light, Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc. When...

    Bloody Marys

For some reason, and I'm definitely not alone in this, a good bloody mary is a common Sunday drink for me. Just seems to work with a noon kickoff football game. I have a favorite pre-made mix called Zing Zang. It's been the best one I've tasted so far. I am going to try the Harley-Davidson mix...

    Salsa

Only jarred salsa I'll buy is Mrs. Renfro's. Others who have tried it have converted from their regular brand too. There's lots of different varieties too, but I'm hooked on their Habanero salsa. You have to use it in moderation, as it does tend to creep up on you after a few bites. The hot...

You can only store your bike with Amsoil oil in it

The V-Rod community pretty much humps the leg of Amsoil there too. I won't disagree that it's probably a decent oil, but I seriously doubt it's that much more superior (if at all) to other comparable oils. The users say it's night and day difference to other oils, but few comment on what they...

    Philly Cheesesteaks

I get some deli sliced top round, and add diced onion and green pepper to the mix, season with Worcestershire sauce and McCormick Season-All, and serve it up on hoagie rolls smeared with Cheez Whiz.

    Hot sauce

Louisiana "The Original" hot sauce. A little more heat, and a lot more flavor than Tabasco. Tried Crystal, Texas Pete, and many others, and this is my favorite "general purpose" hot sauce. I've got tons of others that I've accumulated as experiments, received as gifts, etc. Some are boring...

Do they sell Hamms beer where you live??

I can get it cheap here. It's around 9 bucks for a 30 pack. Problem is, there's something in that beer that just gets you stupid, stumbling, falling down blackout drunk. I won't buy it anymore, even though I don't really mind the taste of it. I don't understand this either... Why does Hamm's...
