Why do we debate so much on what others do or don't do with their money? I use Amsoil SS 0W30 in my 2020 Tundra with a 7500k OCI. Sleep well at night and do Blackstone every other oil change. It could be overkill or not. Will let cha know in several years :)

This looks like the GF5 not GF6. GF6 Pennzoil Ultra has over 220 Boron. Odd?

Without asking why or giving personal opinions different would you go PUP every 5k or SS every 7500?

No. Amsoils warranty in fine print says you MUST follow Manufacturers oil change.

Also I don't need an API starburst. My 2020 Tundra manual says must meet spec and "some" oils have a starburts. Which means some dont. Amsoil has a warranty and since 1972 not one engine has been destroyed. Not worth paying yearly for a cert when everyone knows its exceeds it.

Boron is low for PUP. Is this GF6,?

With a PC membersip I can get 9 quarts of SS for $11 more than XL. SS comes in a tad over $100 so one saves $9.99 on shipping. Why would one use XL?

I use Kendall because they don't market as much. They focus on shop owners and Mecum Auctions. Over 150 years of making oil and greases and never seen or heard of an issue. Also like the fact Phillip 66 like Mobil and Shell Have their own base oil and work with OEMs.

You realize certification is more about CAFE regulations and emissions than quality right? I know a Toyota Engineer who uses Amsoil products. If Amsoil every had a failure many haters would post it. But they don't. Good day.

Not one claim has ever been filed by Toyota for oil not meeting a spec. Not one. But I would love to watch Amsoil defend their product in court againts a car company. Would be fun to see ;)

Reason I don't choose Amsoil is I like my money going to a small American owned company. Simple as that.

Amsoil has my back with their warranty. Not one failure since 1972 againts Amsoil. Not one.
