    Here are some photos of my oil filter from my Scion. So I did a B12 piston soak before this oil change also. Car was using a quart every 350 miles before piston soak. At the time of oil change it was down a quart, and I added 2 quarts during this run. Replaced with HPL PCMO 5w30 and OEM filter.

    Yep. Ours went out Friday evening with a very long repair time. Started up my car went to go get gas. No sooner they put the car in gear. The whole neighborhood lit up.

    I put the pistons about half way in the cylinders and split a can across the 4 holes. Let them soak for a day and then turn the crank bolt with a ratchet back and forth. Added more B12 to the dry holes and waited another day and did the ratchet thing again. After that I pulled the fuel pump fuse...

    These are from my oil burner Scion tC. 80k on the plugs and 300 miles/quart oil usage. Did the b12 piston soak and I’m at 1300 miles to a quart now.

    He says it takes all of 2 days to complete at about 20 hours billed. I know his shop rate is $110/hour plus parts so around a $2600 job.
