Now it's between the Passat and a 2014 Impala V6. The Passat has 123k, the Impala 180k. Passat is also a lot cheaper so I'm not sure again.

These are all good but very contrasting points. The TDI is being repaired for a faulty EGR under warranty so I can't see it right now. The Sonata has a factory warranty on the new engine which is really hard to pass up. EDIT: I can't figure out the length of the warranty on the replacement...

I was a porter as well, for Subaru. I'd take the new cars that came off the truck with virtually no gas and fill them up, document, inspect etc. Each car had 3 miles on it. Did they test them? Not sure. But I always treated them like they were my own.

Stereo and climate controls that are only digital. On my Nissan there's no button for the climate, you have to cycle through "mode". The radio has 6 button presets, but everything else including more stations require looking away from the road touching the screen.
