Pictures of the Nimitz in drydock.

It is hard for me to accept that CVN-68 is really that old.

Thoughts on the C4 (84-96) Corvette

Too hard for us old farts to get in/out of. That era, I would prefer a Mustang GT. Not much of a performance car by todays standards, but still a cool ride.

    I don't need another car...

Doesn't matter if you need it or not. Do you want it? Thats what really matters.

How & what pistol does your wife carry concealed?

Don't have a wife (and don't want one) but if I did, she would carry a Glock 26.

    Amazing used car find

That era of Buick's were pretty good cars too. Very hard to find in Michigan without being rusted out.

    Black Friday sales?

Bought a new Husky tool roller cabinet. 46.5" wide by 24.5" deep. Has 9 drawers, with the top one running the full width. I put it in my kitchen. My kitchen is quite small with limited cupboard space so I am using it to put dishes, pots, pans, silverware, coffee cups, etc... in it. Looks nice...

    Shell Rotella Gas Truck Oil

Not the first as claimed. Mobil 1 had a "Truck & SUV" oil that they discontinued 10-11 years ago or so. IIRC, it was only offered in 5W-30.

Vehicle sighting - '68 Ford LTD

Very cool old Ford. Did not have the 351C as standard, as that engine's first model year was 1970.

The Pickup Truck - Nowadays' Full Size Four Door Sedan

The truck in my signature is likely my last. Getting too expensive and I'm getting cheaper as I get older (and smarter) Next vehicle will likely be an Accord or a Camry.

Sears Sales (Points for Future Use) - Anyone?

Bought a pair of shoe's at my local Sears store in the mall. It was weird, very quiet. More employee's in the store than customer's.

    Anyone serve on a battleship?

I tried to get order's to the Iowa back in the 80's. Didn't happen. Was fortunate enough to get order's to a Spruance Class Destroyer (DD-977) and later to an Aegis Cruiser (CG-56) The San Jacinto is still on active duty. Those were some really good years.
