Unknown mileage on this beauty. Came off my work truck, 2018 Silverado 3500HD 6.6... Magnet was pretty caked up. My guess is that it’s the original filter since the date code looks like 01/04/18. Which means this filter has 70,000+ miles on it…yikes!

Doesn’t hurt that gm filters are almost always mounted adbv up too. I just ordered 12 champ xl filter and they have black valves, but since most Hondas have the filters mounted valve up or angled I’m not worried

aside from the black & blue story - last I knew CL makes AC Delco filters and the black ADV’s are AEM So it’s like a happy medium between nitrile and silicone?

Going to be changing out a set of 6 plugs on my brother 2012 Honda Odyssey soon because he has a p0304 code. What is the toque spec? Is it still 13 lb ft or should I do 20 lb ft? I don’t want to have the same issue I had with my wife’s 2013 fit; with having spark plugs loosening up

Same here. I just got my 12 in from RA and all were black adbv. Most likely nitrile but I doubt it’ll affect anything. More likely than not they put the nitrile on the champ xl because people were complaining about the Fram lineup lol

All mine from rockauto came with nitrile adbv…was hoping for silicone

I ordered 12 of rockauto and they came in today. Was expecting them to have silicone adbv but they all have the black rubber. Idc I’m still running them the entire maintenance minder on my families Hondas

Would the standard red purolator be considered a jobber filter or the extra guard? I’m looking for an affordable filter I can use on my family’s fleet of Hondas

Has anyone gotten or used the new PXL57356? They claim to only be good for 5000 miles but every other jobber tier filter goes 10k. I’d like to see it cut open before I buy 12

Just installed 4 new Denso 3401 spark plugs with a small amount of anti seize and torqued to 20lb ft, we shall see what happens. Also new denso coils

For some reason this generation fit is known for their spark plugs loosening on their own; especially the #2 spark plug. Has anyone figured out what’s causing this? Or a fix for the issue? Thanks

Just go to Walmart and grab the Extra guard, same thing for much less than the Drive version
