Mobil 1 filter for Dodge Cummins 6.7

I have been using the M1 403 filter and changing it and the oil at approx 5000 miles. Would i be "cheating" if I ran this filter for 2 drain intervals? this is an EGR/DPF equipped engine and the oil is very black when i drain at 5000 miles.

Pros/cons of moly in wheel bearings?

Well that explains why the front wheel bearings were the only thing on my 2007 F-350 that DIDN'T blow up, fall off, or break down. Total POS truck. just had to vent.

    Chevron 5w40 Delo synthetic

Anyone running this oil? Doesn't seem too popular. I am wondering if the price is justified or would i be better with with Delvac 1 or M1 5w0 Turbo Diesel?

    Porsche Cayman!!!!

The Cayman shares most of its parts with the Boxster. it is the best handling platform that Porsche produces but the 911 will always be the Top and Porsche will ensure that the hierarchy is maintained by keeping the trick pieces for the 911 and all the 911 variants like the GT3RS and GT2

Redline 50W Racing, 200 race miles, WC spec SRT-4

Why run the 50 wt? I'd run no heavier than the 40 or 10w40 Redline.

    Brad Penn/Redline 20W-50, 1,000/1,282 miles, P 911

i race a 944 and a 964 cup in PCA and NASA events...I have run Redline 10w40 for 10+ race hours and it looks fine for continued use...The comments about a 20w50 being too heavy are correct IMHO...never had real good results running a 20w50 in either car...The 40 weights always gave me a better...

    Porsche 944 turbo filter

It is an excellent filter, made by Canton....I have been racing 944's for years and never had a problem with the factory spin-on filters...is there a particular reason you're using it? If it's already on the car, i'd keep it of course but i don't think it is necessarily needed.

Volkswagen of America, Pathetic Customer Service

I have had exactly the opposite experience with my VW's and Audi's over the years. All were very reliable and i have a great dealer. I will say that you need to follow the maintenance schedule religously. Keeping the car in top shape increases your ownership satisfaction dramatically! Definitely...

OCI for Delvac 1 in 6.7 Cummins

Anyone care to approximate a safe OCI for Delvac 1 5w40 in a 2008 Dodge Cummins 6.7 liter? Truck is towing 10-15,000 pounds always. I will pull a sample at 7500 miles. This engine (as do all new diesels) has an EGR and DPF so soot loading could be a concern.

Porsche 944 race car Elf 10w50

BTW, i am currently running the Q Racing 17.5w35 oil...It was a special racing brew that Quaker State sold through Jegs Automotive..Oil has a HTHS of 3.9...other than that not too much info on it...I will sample this oil after 3 hours running time in mid-July.

Porsche 944 race car Elf 10w50

I have used Brad penn and Redline as well...They both yielded similiar results. This engine was an old "junk yard" block that had over 120,000 miles on it...while clean, it did have some varnish and shaded areas under the cam box...Maybe some cleaning or residual? i rebuilt it in August 2006 and...
