    Amazon return at UPS store

I do all my returns at UPS store, for the times I was forced to do Kohl's, I had to walk all the way to the back of the store and wait in line. UPS store is closer for me and usually in an out in 1min. Never an issue

Input on "best" refrigerators on the market wanted

On 2018 there was an import tarrif on appliances. It's said that imported appliances had to get cheaper to build to sell them competitively hence all the negative press. I have a 2014 era LG fridge that came with the house no issues at all. I recently bought a Frigidaire Freezer for my...

    Auto Shut-off with a turbo

Since the conversation is about cooling the turbo when the car is off not sure what you mean. Also most modern turbos cars run oil higher than 220 when driven hard. Oil today is significantly better no not coke up the turbos as well, which I think where turbo timers really came from back in the...

    Auto Shut-off with a turbo

Aren't most OEM turbos setup these days passively cooled? So when you shut down they still are cooling somewhat.

Car Care Nut -Why you shouldn't wait 100k mi to change coolant on a Toyota UR series V8.

This is spreading all over Facebook. I think that's a positive since it will get people to actually do maintenance and not keep to minimum suggested maintenance that isn't in the best interest for longevity.

    Merv furnace filter ratings

Merv 12 here wouldn't run anything less, I like to use filters that actually filter. There are many ways to solve airflow issues. HVAC people want you to use cheap filters so they can sell you cleanings.

Are Chinese tires really that bad?

I wouldn't put cheap Chinese tires on my cars. I stick to name brands, majority of the Chinese tires are significantly worse in the wet (braking) then good brands. Tyer review did a test with all seasons the best tire stopped and the cheapest tire (Chinese) was still doing 40mph!

NRS vs Akebono vs aftermarket vs OEM pads

My favorite pads were stoptech 309s but they are not available anymore. I have EBC Yellows but they don't handle heat well at all, fine for everyday.

Looking for 110vac tire inflator that doesn’t suck

I have both the M18 inflator and a Vair 88p. The Vair is great I've had it for over 10 years. M18 inflator is good and easy to use. Ive found it's not super accurate for small top up's but you'll be at least ~1 PSI that you set. . Minor thing but if I bring it to Autox I'd use it to go over and...

Ever been late on a credit card?

There is usually a grace period but you are definitely past that unfortunately. I would setup automatic minimum payment for every credit card going forward so this does not happen again.

What is going on with Toyota?

The part was a reman with original bushings. The bushings seem to have a significant amount of compliance. So much that it was obvious in 5min of driving the vehicle. (Steering wheel all over the place) Tldr dealers suck, this would have been any easy fix for any competent shop.

    HVAC filters

So there are two different deltas here. Intake vs Output of the unit and inside home temperature vs outside temperature. The temperature delta from outside should easily get larger than 15F as your AC runs. Your house is insulated and as the inside temp gets lowered the inside temp should also...
