Are you sure it's not a GTR with a handbuilt engine? And/or do you live in Japan?

By good do you mean usable or good as in not harmful to the engine? I've had gas cans with Stabil and years old gas (like 3 years old) that I use in lawn equipment and they run with it. It's probably not good for them but they run fine. It's also 10% ethanol gas in a high humidity climate.

The 2001 Subaru I had had you change the first oil early at 3750 miles vs the regular 7500 miles. It also had breakin instructions for the first 1000 miles. Interestingly the breakin still exists for 2024s but no early oil change but the non severe interval is now 6000 vs 7500 back in the day...

I'd ask for a refund since you can't return it. They delivered the wrong product. If it's not them being incompetent, it's fraud. Since you've been in touch w Castrol I'd let them know if it happens again.
