I dont mind the LB7 injectors being under the valve covers. A quality set from a reputable company with SAC nozzles is key.

I would love to find an old single cab LB7 for a towing/hunting truck. Id take one with bad injectors and fix it myself

Definitely do an EGR and DPF delete, and CP3 swap. I did it all on my buddies 2015 LML, the CP3 swap wasnt hard just time consuming.

Friend of mine has a 2018 Chevy 1500 with the 5.3 with 150k, recently got the AFM deleted, new cam etc. I usually run M1 5W30 in it when I change the oil. Takes 8 quarts, would it be ok to mix 6 quarts 5W30 and 2 quarts M1 15W50? He has some oil sitting in the shed hed like to get rid of.
