Where do you ride? Are you thinking of getting one? Post them?

Well...as we down south (Arkansas) is fixing to be plummeted by snow and I will be working remote tomorrow, I thought I'm gonna start a thread that I have yet to see on here...so here it is?

Anyone in or around Arkansas that do much riding? Maybe one day we can all get together. Or heck I could come where you are. I'd love to hear from some of you West Virgina boys. You all have some pretty dang good riding out there from what I understand. I dont care for mud holes, rock climbing, or nothing extreme. I just like honest riding. Not interested in tearing my rig up, just riding trails.

Here is my 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000. Bought it new back when. It's been flawless however I still only have less than 1000 miles. Been a great machine that has costed me a fortune in accessories but I love it. Even got married with it lol.

Great looking rig and family!

I've got a 2016 Kawi Mule pro-fxt ranch ed. I bought it with a lot of issues that the seller didn't disclose (lots of lessons learned), but the rig is solid despite the prior (WV) owner's abuse and neglect. It's a belt drive vs your geared transmission (IIRC from my prior research). I don't have a lift, steel skids, etc as you do but bought a horror freight winch to replace the broken Warn it came with. I've learned a lot and thankfully the thing starts every time I ask it to, and goes when I want as well. Governed top end of 45 MPH, but that's plenty fast for me.

It's an awesome tool to have for sure and has helped me immeasurably with tasks that need doing.

I dont have a side by side, but will soon be buying an older Honda or Yamaha 4 wheeler. Would be great to meet up and ride. Im in South Louisiana
Awesome. I really don't think you could go wrong with either. If I didn't own Honda it would definitely be a Yamaha wolverine 1000 4 seater. Let me know and we could arrange something. I have a cousin who lives in White Castle.
I am in California. We have a 13 can am Maverick. We live very close to things like Johnson valley( the hammer trails, fun in the desert etc), Stoddard valley, randsburg and juniper flats is in my back yard.

We usually just leave from home.
Oh wow! I would love to get out there and do some riding. Is most of that riding rock or dirt? You gotta understand I'm from Arkansas we these boys go through swamps and ponds. 😬
Nice Rig! Don't currently have a SxS, but the Honda Pioneer would be at the top of my list if I was looking.
Thank you, sir. It's been a great machine but let me warn you, the DCT transmission is different and definitely jerky. Initially. Until the clutches wear in some. Not to mention it is shaft drive. Even though I'm a Honda guy, that feature alone sold the rig to me.

Lesson learned but sounds like you have a solid rig now and that's awesome! Yes these are gears but I have mant friends with belt driven and the horror stories are a lot worse than what they actually are. I think ome of them had an issue once out of all the riding we've done.

They definitely are useful tools. First job mine had was hauling rocks and pulling stumps and trees around the house lol.

People come from all over to ride the Hatfield/McCoys trails in western WV. Also put Silverton, Co. on your bucket list. Miles and miles of big mountain trails.

Bought my 2022 Kawasaki Teryx S model three years ago and haven’t had a single issue with it. It’s been all over Hatfield McCoy/outlaw trails, as well as some pretty hairy local trails. It’s also street legal, so very handy. Only real mod was to replace the factory 27” tires with 29”.

Had a friend with one of those. I believe it was a 800? Correct me if I'm wrong lol. He beat the sh** out of that thing, still doing it today too lol. Great machines.

I'd love to get to WV! I hear it is some really good riding out there!

Wow now that's a slick ride man. Wow! Looks comfortable too! Money is definitely tied up in that thing! Nice build brother!

Thanks.
I went a little too far with it, but it was a showpiece for the body kits so rolling advertising.
It's super plush.

Bought this machine because of the performance to dollar ratio. Passed some machines in WV that cost over twice as much in the rough stuff. It’s like a mountain goat, slower but sure footed. Some of my crowd talked smack when I brought it, but they don’t anymore. With the 29” tires it has 15” of ground clearance.

If you get the chance to go to WV, take it, because it’s some great riding. Plenty of easier trails in the H/M section, and trails in the outlaw section that will make you leave pucker marks in your seat! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!
