    Bought a Cheap Accord

I like those fuel injection clamps too, much nicer than standard worm clamps. I've used the fuel inj clamps on my pcv valve hose (scion tc, camry engine 2az-fe), works perfectly. but that's what the leak was, again, another simple fix, this is turning out to be good news one after another...

Honda Plastic PCV Valve, '17 Accord 2.4L

It could be a genuine Honda part. I've ordered Honda parts from Amazon before and they weren't fake. it was sold/shipped by Amazon. I bet you have the real part, but definitely do your research and make sure.

Honda Plastic PCV Valve, '17 Accord 2.4L

That label is one that Amazon sticks on it's items for identification in their warehouse. Have seen that a lot on anything I buy from Amazon.

At what miles would you do a pan drop and install a new strainer/filter on a Nissan CVT?

I was surprised when I found the TSB for my friend's rogue, but it was a eureka moment realizing that the rest of the world got the trans cooler but the US market did not. No wonder the transmissions were dying. Thanks bean-counting Nissan!! for anyone that's curious.. it's nissan tsb NTB16-090

    Trusts have their purposes.........

The other reason to have a living trust is to stay out of Probate Court. That's where Wills go to be decided, and you do not want those people going through to tell your family what to do and what their take is after you pass. Been down this road recently and was very thankful that my parents...

At what miles would you do a pan drop and install a new strainer/filter on a Nissan CVT?

I know with the 1st gen Rogue 2008-2013 (then sport after that), Nissan left out the trans oil cooler (looks like a radiator up front) and that's what ended up cooking the CVT fluid. So yes, it's important to keep up with regular CVT fluid so the trans won't end up baked. Nissan eventually...

Anyone have experience buying tires from tire agent?

oh is that how it is, ok thanks for clearing that up. I always thought it was a rule no matter if it was installed or stored 6-8 years. but.. I guess I'll still be a tire snob and want something newer than 5 years old even if it was stored. That's just me.

Low cost Chinese AGM battery - a "Weize" choice?

I'm in to see updates.. With everything already made in China it was only a matter of time before they slapped their own label on what they've been manufacturing.

Anyone have experience buying tires from tire agent?

wow 5 years old, and tire manufacturers were saying to replace tires between 6-8 years old. They kept moving the goal posts as to how old was too old, but that's what I remember. 25% off, I get it, that's important for anyone's budget, but 25% off that old of a tire? Not thinking it's worth...

    Carmaker Nissan on borrowed time?

And they think with that sort of epic sales slide, somehow Honda is going to help them? You're right, not good news, that is horrific. Plus..that the board let's management stay employed with a 90% income loss year on year. If Nissan is to survive they need to remove their management and...

    Honda and Nissan to Merge?

ok so I wrote that incorrectly.. but it does show Mitsubishi's desire to reduce Nissan's influence on them in their alliance! It still shows Mitsu is strengthening their own position and limiting their exposure to Nissan.

    Honda and Nissan to Merge?

As I just found this thread, I'll post what I said in the other thread about Nissan here.. I think a merger is insane between Honda and Nissan. What is Honda going to do that Nissan changes how they got here needing money? Nothing.. Will only bankrupt Honda. And it's telling with...

    Carmaker Nissan on borrowed time?

wow insane... say goodbye to Honda. Seriously, what is Honda going to do that Nissan changes how they got here? Nothing.. just bankrupt Honda. It's telling when Mitsubishi is dumping the shares they have in Nissan! They've had their merger/alliance with Nissan for awhile, even Mitsu is...

    Windows freezing from inside

no issue with your engrish, I understood completely. (y) Now that's interesting, roll the window down, come up with water on the window! And here it was inside the garage, all dry! I agree with @Trav, blocked door drain, could be both the door vapor barrier and a block door drain. Might...

    Windows freezing from inside

ya at least see if they are sealing up properly.. one more thing I thought of was the vapor barrier in the door panel. That plastic sheet that separates the outer and inner door trim panel. You take off the interior door trim, then you can see that sheet. That could also be letting in...

    Windows freezing from inside

ok well just throwing out ideas.. but you saying pressure wash, then the moisture shows up, there's a connection.. have you lubed up the window rubber run channels? even the door weatherstripping, just because it's newer doesn't mean those rubber strips are sealing. I'd use Honda's...

    Windows freezing from inside

you know what would be good? get a cheap thermometer with a humidity % read out, I think they're cheap on Amazon/ebay. put that in the car to see how much humidity is inside compared to your gf's. It could also be a leaky windshield could cause moisture down the a-pillar behind the dash...
