I’m not at all, who said I’m entertaining other advice? What I was getting at is if their HDEO is recommended for a boat motor that will see far more abuse than decreppo’s road-going car why look at a pricier oil that isn’t needed?

Why would their HDEO line not work? Interestingly enough when I asked Dave for recommendations, he said their HDEO is the ticket for the 3.0l GM 4-cylinder in my boat. He could certainly have recommended NO-VII, yet didn’t. It’s a good bit more affordable than NO-VII too.
