Cheapest 2TB storage for free outdated laptop

OS and all programs are on an internal SATA SSD. All work and back ups are kept on external USB platter disks. Platter is cheapest and best for long term storage. They are slower but I haven't had a problem with that. I have a 2Tb platter full of movies attached to the TV's intel NUC and movies...

    multiple break-in oil changes

500 mile break in oil changes went out in the 1960's. The only things I change oil early is in new OPE with no oil filter. Oil always comes out looking like silver paint.

15w-40 vs 5w-40 in old diesel engines?

In all my OPE, a non-vented five gallon gas can, non ethanol gas and the right mixture of TCW3 and Seafoam. Everything starts right up with stock spark plug gaps. Engines run strong with no oil consumption. Gas seems to last forever.

Where to find SAE 40 for Detroit Diesel?

What are your oil pressures at idle and running? DD specs are 4psi at idle and 30-40 at rpm. DD oil pumps are a volume pump and not considered a high psi pump.

    Oil brand name abbreviations

Agree. My phone is a phone and that's it. I admit, though, I do sometimes text because my friends text me. Another problem I see with phones is spell check or AI picking words when you start typing. Most people don't proof read before posting.

UniFi/Ubiquiti network and protect questions for new ADU

Agree. All my cat5 runs through the attic (home on a slab) which makes good antennas for EMP. After three near by lightning strikes took out tv, computers, switch and surround sound I went with wifi on everything. BTW, our home is 1300 square feet, AP is located in the center of the home and is...
