Lets not forget to add a factually low effiecient synthetic filter media being marketed and sold as a premium filter. Sometime i really dont get German Engineering marketing, its mostly hogwash and has historically greatly contributed to their loss of world war 2.

OP sample is a counterfeit which matches the font and text. Here is an example of a genuine part of the same filter which has a lighter blue color and print.. RIP OP's engine Center tube louvers pattern is not the same as what Donaldson normally use, and you can see the yellow colored...

This looks very off, I smell counterfeit. On the larger filters, Donaldson normally has a prefill center hole with oil pictorial on the install instruction... I look at some online examples of this filter at known MRO and industrial parts distribution sites and none of the example photos...

Mostly OEM by Purolator Mann+Hummel, quality can be a hit or miss depending. Mostly suffers from cheap glue and possible media tears. Its jobber tier at a premium if you want my opinion, that goes for most OEM filters on the market. Just good enough to make the vehicle last the warranty period.
