I have the cheap [amazon or harbor freight] equipment. Vacuum pump, manifold set and whatever. Only work on AC every few years of so. I can't see buying professional grade equipment if it's not going be used to make a living. What I have has worked well with occasional use for 10 or more years.

When soldering in a flammable area, I keep a spray bottle of water handy. Wet down the area before lighting the torch.

The fram XG8A has been on my 99 Caravan for 4.5 years. I only drive about 3,000 miles/year. I should change it this fall. I have another old XG made in 2022 that will probably see the same 5 years of use.

It's a scam. They want to see your bill so they can copy your acct number and sign you up to be your provider.

Perhaps the bushing is pushed in...not all the way, everything installed and alignment measured. Then everything removed and the bushing is rotated a set amount as indicated in a manufacturer's chart. Re-installed and yur good to go. Wishful thinking?

spasm3 has it right. OP drives an average of 5 miles a day. If this is a trip of 1 mile to town twice a day, then you can't change oil only once a year. Extreme short tripping would destroy the oil in a month or two. More detailed information is needed.

Remove the oil drain plug. Not just the filter drain plug.

Injector past their expected life? I expect mine to last a million miles or more. My cars run a long time and none of them have needed an injector. Reading articles on "million mile cars" seldom do they mention changing the injectors. I suggest you save your money.

Send the photos to Fram customer service. This might prompt them to do something about it and save someone the trouble of a defective filter.

I'm no expert but I think for automotive work you usually want two channels or more to look at the relationship between command and result. Timing etc..
