reminds me of the old saying "If it ain't broke.. don't fix it".. I don't think you're making up theories. Iit's ok to have those theories.. because.. you can be both.. being paranoid and yes they are out to get you!

Brake Bleeding...Pressure VS Vacuum and Preferred DIY Kits?

Thanks for that info.. Looks like the cars that don't need the extra help (pressure) could do gravity bleed. I'll have to go back, search for the older discussions..

6x9 JVC Car speakers for $29.99, $50 bucks off, at SonicElectronix

you'd more appreciate the louder sound from a higher sensitivity speaker if it's being powered by the radio instead of an external amp. that JVC you posted at 82db sensitivity is pretty sad compared to the 90db of the Pioneer!

    2000 4Runner needing injectors for 3rd time

I'll tell you my experience with both re-boxed parts and the remanufactured fuel injectors. First, as you were indicating you cannot service a sealed injector, so remanufactured is a joke of an excuse. The reman injectors I bought were just cleaned up used ones and yes the STFT and LTFT were a...

The NGKs being very close in resistance numbers to the sumitomo's, and since the NGKs are cheaper and available you're not missing much at all. You're right the dealer can be a crapshoot and...

And yes for anyone who doesn't know.. there were 2 different suppliers to Honda's oil filters.. One was Filtech (part number ending in A01)and the other one was Fram/Honeywell (part ending in A02). The better filter in my mind was always the A01-Filtech supplied filter. Also, Filtech is the...
