Another gem from SequiaSoon. Looks ok, felt endcaps too

Relic, nostalgia debut. That should be from my daughters CRV with one of @researcher's old stock Honda A01.Cool bypass spring. A BITOG debut?
I’ll have to find the other long blue Honda filter. Hope I didn’t toss it out or mangle it other day.Relic, nostalgia debut. That should be from my daughters CRV with one of @researcher's old stock Honda A01.
@53' Stude would need to confirm as I sent him the thinner/longer A01 and also a shorter/wider PCX-004.
I can give oil/vehicle details based on filter confirmation.
It said on side of can FILTECHDoesn't look like a Fram made Honda filter. End caps and leaf spring/bypass not like the Fram variants.
hey @Sequoiasoon How funny, I was just thinking about these oil filters wondering how they looked inside.. then..today, here's that post, awesome! Yup these are Filtech A01 Honda filters that today are only A02 (part number ending in) that's the fiber end caps. I had a stash of filtechs but since Project Civic isn't around anymore, sold them off. They've gone to a new home.Relic, nostalgia debut. FILTECH are the "A01" filters. These are no longer available. Only the "A02" filters remain, and those are/were Fram based on C&Ps posted here on Bitog. It said on side of can FILTECH
Very good info sir. Thank You, very much appreciated. And yes for anyone who doesn't know.. there were 2 different suppliers to Honda's oil filters.. One was Filtech (part number ending in A01)and the other one was Fram/Honeywell (part ending in A02). The better filter in my mind was always the A01-Filtech supplied filter. Also, Filtech is the American division name of Roki of Toyo Roki Japan, that makes Subaru and I think Mazda's filters. You know, the really good quality filters.
Haven't seen a topic A01 in a very long time, in my observation pretty near extinct now.
