6x9 JVC Car speakers for $29.99, $50 bucks off, at SonicElectronix

I picked up a pair of Kenwood 6x9s as a Best Buy black friday sale for about $30 to replace a failed door speaker on our Camry.
I liked them so much I bought another pair after the first of the year on "regular" sale for $39 for the rear.
I think JVC owns Kenwood now so Its likely not much difference between the two.
They sound fine to me running off the factory non-JBL stereo. I'm not even sure if they're receiving a full range signal as there is a separate tweeter built in the dash but those are probably wired behind a capacitor style "bass blocker".

Jvc does own Kenwood.
That's a good deal on those Kenwood 6x9s.
The frequency response at 35 to 20khz is great. Something to look for in a well rounded sounding speaker.

I've read about that also, the TS-G6930F model of Pioneer 6x9 speakers.
It was in a Dodge Ram Forum. Stated that the frequency was 32Hz-20kHz and the owners really liked the way they sounded.
They run like $44 on Amazon and SonicElctronix.

you'd more appreciate the louder sound from a higher sensitivity speaker if it's being powered by the radio instead of an external amp. that JVC you posted at 82db sensitivity is pretty sad compared to the 90db of the Pioneer!
