Oil filter off my friends 2012 Honda Odyssey with 295k miles. I think the filter looks great. Mobil 1 0w40 28,000 mile oci. 3.75 quarts top off. Will post uoa when it comes in. M1 0w40 and another FE7317 went back in/on.

Wicked dry for a few months. Some hard carbon and soft goopy carbon in pleats. Some metal here and there. Some cleaning happening in this engine

Finally got to filter after wicked dry. Some gritty carbon in pleats, some metal flecks here and there. Overall happy.

Yes the cvt is very smooth. When it loads the engine up, especially when the drivetrain is under significant load for the rpm and the engine has an ignition timing adjustment, the whole drivetrain nudges a bit and can be confused as the transmission jerkiness.
