G-Body as part of the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX.

As a 39 year owner of a Buick Regal G-Body (my first car)... it was neat to see a Buick Regal on the stage during the Super Bowl halftime show.

    Walmart pay saved the day

I keep a 20 dollar bill folded up between my phone and its case... no technology needed.

Got our electric bill straightened out.

We lived out in the boonies when I was a kid, and we had to read our own power meter, and then mail that reading to the Electric Cooperative, who would then mail you a bill.

    2025 Compass - rental review

I had one as a rental last year. Took it to Auburn, Indiana for the Labor Day weekend car auction. It was red with the Trailhawk package. Only issue I had was that the NAV would randomly shut itself down every 50-100 miles without any obvious reason. It was comfortable enough, and I...

    2025 1500 Ram SST Issues

When looking at all of the problems (cooling system, ABS, Driver Assist) that you've had in the past 46 days of 'brokenness'... what percentage do you estimate have been issues attributable to the truck (e.g. the failed water pump), and what percentage have been issues attributable to the...

    PRIME GUARD POF-1A CUT OPEN

DannyM- You are more than welcome to use whatever filter you want. When the media in a 'total basic' $4 Fram filter looks like this, the $3 PrimeGuard is lacking.

    PRIME GUARD POF-1A CUT OPEN

Here is an image of Prime Guard filter media under the microscope at 100x, courtesy of Whip City Wrencher/YouTube (link to video below). No thanks. I guess it is fine for your mother-in-law's car though. The construction is nice. The filter media isn't.

New Dodge Hornets reported as selling 33 percent below MSRP- worth consideration??

I'm seeing 2025 Ram 1500's at $16,500 off, which depending on how it is optioned, is close to that same 33% discount. Coming out of the pandemic, Stellantis went crazy on some of their pricing.

Deceptive car salesman loses a sale

I had one who waited until the last possible moment to mention the $995 Ceramic paint treatment, that had supposedly already been applied. I walked.

Toro Walk Behind Mower - No Oil Changes Required ?

Many of them, the oil simply drains out the same way that it goes in... through the filler tube.

Toro Walk Behind Mower - No Oil Changes Required ?

My Honda walk behind perfectly balances itself sideways, on two of its wheels, when draining the oil. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but it sure is nice.

1991 John Deere 260 Garden Tractor Kawasaki 17 HP Used Oil Analysis History (UOA)

Some of those 17 horse single cylinder Kawasakis just tend to knock. Had an FC540V that had a knock from day one, and had a second one that didn't.

    Replacing an engine options.

Here's a first hand review of Jasper Engines: I found out the hard way that Jasper struggles to reliably rebuild something as common as a GM 5.3 engine. Went through 3 of them (under warranty) in less than one year. All work was performed by an authorized Jasper installer. If they can't...
