    Another M1 noise story

oh yeah, that M1 is real noisey! I had an 84 Rabbit I ran it in. Got so noisey I had to wear ear plugs on my commute to and from work with it. It was terrible Mind you, I also had cherry bomb straight exhaust with no cat on that car...but I dont' think that mattered much, as it was clearly the...

How do you fight the urge to buyanew set of tires?

I do a tire rotation. Gives me some up close and personal time with my tires. Based on this, I usually rotate and top up the air as needed and keep on motorin!

    Do my tires look safe?

NEVER PUT NEW TIRES ONLY ON THE FRONT!!! REGARDLESS OF THE DRIVING WHEELS (FWD VS RWD) IF YOU'RE GONNA CHEAP OUT AND ONLY REPLACE TWO, THEN PUT THEM ON THE REAR

    Looking back

hp does not indicate the fun had behind the wheel. I have rented many vehicles. In all those years I've realised that the cars that were cheaper and with less hp, were the ones that were far more enjoyable to drive to it's limits (which are far less than a high hp car). My daily driver is fun...

    Anyone try Grassmilk yet?

So I kinda gave up on the vegan thing. sure I felt good and all for a while, but I started getting sick of taking pills to supplement my body all the stuff it needs. So I slowly started adding small amounts of dairy and eggs to my diet. So far it's going awesome! Anyway, recently I read the...

Mercedes Benz -- YAY or IXNAY?

Seems like a decent ride from reviews on KBB http://www.kbb.com/mercedes-benz/m-class/2000-mercedes-benz-m-class/ Aside from that, the ML320 gets 15mpg's city and 18 highway. According to fueleconomy.gov, they say it's designed to run best on prem. too Overall, I'd say go for it. Seems like a...

    2005 Pontiac Vibe 1.8L 1ZZ-FE oil change 80K miles

Congrats on you first post! For that car, I'd really not have a problem with M1 5w30, and have used it for VERY long intervals on my previous car. I also dont' see why you OCI's are so short with such a robust oil? Those oils can easily go 10k between OCI's Those little motors are very robust/...

    New-to-me 1985 F250 Explorer

Nice catch! that thing is so deliciously 80's it hurts! I esp. love the "XLT" badge in the dash, did they really see the need to remind the passenger and driver that they are piloting an "XLT" model truck? Was knowing the trim package of your vehicle at all times very important info for the...
