    first home purchase, with fiancee

Our first house sold to an FHA buyer.... The "inspection" for that was less than 2 minutes. Also @earlyre we are in the same boat right now. We went and looked at a house that hadn't sold for 30 days, fell in love with it (big old house built in approximately 1910, still has the original...

New 2026 Dodge Durango Hellcat for fathers day

Nope, they just kind of quit advertising them for a bit as the previous CEO tried axing all the v8's.

    Roundup time

Shareholder value beats health and safety every time.... Except the NTSB, the only government agency I trust.

Why The Distaste For The Tiguan?

Oh I know, just let me have my "old man yells at clouds" moment 🤣

Subaru Has 3 New Stick Shift Cars Coming by 2027

You can absolutely hold your hot coffee for an entire drive with a manual... I routinely did it with open top coffee mugs when I was too lazy to wash my yeti. Chevy Cobalt cup holders are a joke anyway.

    Slate EV Pickup

Every GM vehicle I have ever sat in has been the epitome of uncomfortable... Something about their seats just makes my back hurt after about 20 minutes. For that reason alone I'd pick a Slate over the Equinox.

3D Printed House - Wells Fargo will finance.

I follow a guy on Tiktok who's a home inspector (Cyfy home inspection), I can't remember if he's done any DR Horton homes but my God are some of these new homes downright scary. Little to no insulation, rafters improperly or not fastened at all, beer bottles left behind, sliding doors not...

Do people park backwards in parking spaces where you live?

That's why I find a spot I can pull through, win win!

Do people park backwards in parking spaces where you live?

As a former big back and someone with anxiety over just about everything, I'll just walk a bit more 😅

Do people park backwards in parking spaces where you live?

I prefer to back in but I'm not going to hold up people so I can do it, I'll go find a spot I can pull through towards the back if needed. In a parking garage yeah I'm backing in regardless. The Challenger has massive blind spots in the back, the expedition is just huge. I even back into my own...

Dual CPU motherboard upgrade, good or bad?

Yes, the CPU can't feed the GPU fast enough. Minimum spec states a Core i5-8600, which has significantly faster single core performance than your i7-5820k. Your CPU is slightly ahead of the i5-8600 in multi threading on account of 12 threads instead of 6, but if the game isn't using all 12...

    “Clean your MAF!” - everyone

This thread made me realized that of all the vehicles I've owned (8), not a single one had a MAF sensor, they've all used MAP.

    Game: Read this plug

This is what I'm thinking too. Seen it in some of the Mopar performance groups with guys running Boostane.

With advanced tracking in newer cars will older vehicles become choice of criminals?

I think EMP fears are greatly exaggerated in regards to vehicles. While yes there are tons of wires and sensitive electronics they're fairly shielded. The electric grid on the other hand, you have hundreds of miles of wires to soak up all that EMP goodness.

energy usage calculation for home cooling

One flat rate all the time here, no other option except paying MORE for the utility to purchase REC's (renewable energy certificates) on your behalf. Gotta love a "regulated" monopoly.
