Our first house sold to an FHA buyer.... The "inspection" for that was less than 2 minutes.
Also @earlyre we are in the same boat right now. We went and looked at a house that hadn't sold for 30 days, fell in love with it (big old house built in approximately 1910, still has the original...
You can absolutely hold your hot coffee for an entire drive with a manual... I routinely did it with open top coffee mugs when I was too lazy to wash my yeti. Chevy Cobalt cup holders are a joke anyway.
Every GM vehicle I have ever sat in has been the epitome of uncomfortable... Something about their seats just makes my back hurt after about 20 minutes. For that reason alone I'd pick a Slate over the Equinox.
I follow a guy on Tiktok who's a home inspector (Cyfy home inspection), I can't remember if he's done any DR Horton homes but my God are some of these new homes downright scary. Little to no insulation, rafters improperly or not fastened at all, beer bottles left behind, sliding doors not...

I think EMP fears are greatly exaggerated in regards to vehicles. While yes there are tons of wires and sensitive electronics they're fairly shielded.
The electric grid on the other hand, you have hundreds of miles of wires to soak up all that EMP goodness.
One flat rate all the time here, no other option except paying MORE for the utility to purchase REC's (renewable energy certificates) on your behalf. Gotta love a "regulated" monopoly.
