CRC now sells a spray can of the stuff, we use SP-400. SP-350 is an indoor only product. As long as you don’t go overboard with the stuff, it drives to a waxy like coating that can “self heal” a bit. Kind of like soft candle wax, but not “sticky” soft.

Any router will work with any ISP. The modem is the bit between the router and internet that is specific, basically you can’t use my DOCSIS 3.1 modem, but you could take my router and use that. You’ll just want to disable the WiFi if you have a modem/router combo unit.
