Is top-tier gasoline still worth it?

When at home I prefer to fill with Top Tier, but when it isn't in the cards it's not the end of the world. My question is, if Sam's is anything like the Costco's I've seen, is it really worth the lower prices for those lines?

What is your best MPG ever on a road trip?

I had a 2004 Neon 5 speed that I got 40 once on a trip, but regularly would get near EPA HWY of 36, sometimes 38. Also had a 2016 Focus with the cursed DSP6, but it always impressed me with the fuel economy. Upper 30s on the regular for trips, mid 30s for a primarily highway commute. Lately...

Is BITOG an oil site or a car site

There were a couple threads that vanished recently.

Is BITOG an oil site or a car site

It is not a site about live changing heart procedures.

Why is there no NASCAR thread?

I think smaller "backwoods" type facilities are making a comeback. I relate to the NHRA, they've been going to New England Dragway for several years now, this year they added Maryland International Raceway (borderline backwoods), South Georgia Motorsports and US131. US131 even has a countdown...

Working near a Qualcomm campus in San Diego this week- very unique looks/ culture

California business casual will likely include jeans and a non-graphic t shirt. You were severely overdressed for the audience.

    Walmart oil prices - Ah!

Still cheaper than a parts store by a bunch.

API emergency provision - Group 3

Or is this a point where Pennzoil can market the crap out of the fact that they are not affected at all by this and that their oil remains top quality as always?

A local girl wins the Top Fuel race at the Summit Racing NHRA Nationals

I've seen her being compared to Force numerous times this season. In my mind, anyone who can drive an alcohol funny car, let alone work on one, is a racer at heart. It's just trying to knock off the Killer Bs for the last couple years was like trying to knock off Manzo in his era. Otherwise...

A local girl wins the Top Fuel race at the Summit Racing NHRA Nationals

She is the real deal. She can build an alcohol funny car from front to back. She's a ball of energy, which is a bit off putting to some, but the sport needs young energetic talent. Norwalk is a premier facility of the east coat, IMO. The Bader family is second to none with respect to the fan...

Local Wal-Mart turned away oil change customer... no oil filters in stock for his vehicle.

They didn't have a filter that fits a couple decades worth of Ford V6 and V8s? Or am I misunderstanding what vehicle they didn't have a filter for?

The Mopar 8/9 speed fluid is junk.

Just like how all Neons had head gasket issues when really it was just the 95s The ZF transmissionmission options are generally considered solid but to some Chryslers will always have bad transmissionmissions. I believe the LG8 is a Shell product and LG9 is a Fuchs product.

The Mopar 8/9 speed fluid is junk.

Most Chrysler products haven't used a Chrysler designed transmissionmission in many years. For the most part they are ZF designed units with a couple exceptions.
