I do similar short trips in my 5.3L GM V8 truck. PP held up perfect under this short trip (4478 miles). OLM was at 29% and TBN was at 4.2 (ALS labs so will be higher value than Blackstone). I do not warm up my truck for these short trips either.

2 miles tops, between 5-7 min at a time from home to work , city streets, with two lights before reaching destination.

Trying to find a 03+ head...
decided to do an oil analysis for two reason. The coolant very so slightly has been disappearing over the last yr. I got the jeep last Oct, it had 120K. Currently the jeep has 136K. And I wanted to give back to the community. I got a stash of G-Oil to last me 5 oil changes.

I noticed the same. But it stabilized after a few days.
My previous fill was with German Castrol. This is on a Jeep XJ Cherokee with the 4.0L.
So far no decrease or increase in MPGs. I am about to send for the oil for analysis. I'm in the 4800-4900 mile range right now.
My gti made 387whp on a GT30r. Running 580cc injectors. Back the the fueling was really [censored]. So the oil will get quite a bit of fuel in it
I tried quite a bit of oils. Best one was amsoil 5w-40
was the lowest temp
