I see Amsoil "Z-ROD" 20W-50 is suggested for a 5,000 mile drain in supercharged engines.
I never liked oils like 5W-50's as the molecules tend to not hold up as well as oils with "less of a viscosity spread".
I know the track guys use this oil a lot and wonder if (and I know it might cause...
Ford says 5W-50 Synthetic.
Suggestions for oil and filter along with frequency for change intervals that might get the maximum life out of a supercharged engine?
I have heard that some engines with "blowers" cause a degree of gasoline "blowby" and it is significant enough to stay away from...
When I was a kid they had "sleeper cars". You know like a Ford Pinto some guys would drop a 454 in?
If I won the lottery I would want to be a "sleeper millionaire". Easier said than done. A Black Shelby Mustang WITHOUT any stripes. Forget winning the lottery. I have relatives ask me for money...

100% guarantee requires a "crystal ball". Nobody has one.
Why do many who are extremely familiar in stock options make their livings on teaching seminars and selling computer trading programs?
Why do stock brokers work more than 5-10 yrs?
Why do Forex traders in the know make their money by...

Take Warren Buffett (multi-billionaire form carefully choosing stocks that were bargains).
Last week he sunk several billion into Bank of America which is "failing" as we speak. Their share price was once $80.00/share and now all that separates it from bankruptcy is $6.00/share.
He knows that...
The steering a year ago when brand new was nice. Not too light and not too heavy. Our CRV is 3 yrs old and it's quite tight still.
Now that the Accord is a year old with 15,000 miles it feels "disconnected" from the road especially at freeway speeds.
Almost like the feeling you get if the car...
Mobil-1 15W-50 back when it had a "Red Cap" was a Group IV. PAO with a really good dose of ZDDP and great for Harley's.
Present 15W-50 M-1 is low in ZDDP.
I prefer M-1 20W-50 V-Twin. It's made for Harley's and worth the money. A true blend of Grp V and IV and lots of ZDDP to reduce wear.
I am going to go against the herd on this one.
M-1's have burst on 5.0 liter Mustang GT's. Why who knows?
I used one a couple years back on a 350 Magnum Mercury Marine Engine and the engine overheated at high RPM's. Switched to a WIX and I was fine again.
So I have mixed feelings. I think...
I did not expect to really see any difference in my 2010 Accord V-6 and 2008 CRV Honda's. BUt after switching out to Maxlife the difference is significant.
