    New Honda Accord Confusion...

I forgot to say what my confusion was! If it is the same engine, then why now the great change in OCI life? Better faith in their engine?

    New Honda Accord Confusion...

Hi, guys. I just traded my Wife’s 2005 Honda Accord. It was a great car, and had been using Amsoil ASM 0w-20 for 10,000 mile OCI’s. Well, the new 2008 Accord body style came out, and the two door looks sweet…my wife fell in love, so we traded. The old Accord had 68,500 miles on it, and ran like...

    Amsoil ASL 5w30

The ASL 5w-30 is a great oil. I have been running it for 10,000 mile OCI's in my 2006 Dodge Ram 4.7 V8. I now how 38,000 miles on the truck, and it is doing fine.

    Amsoil 0w-20 is in

The 402 miles I got was before the gas light came on. That's when I pulled in and got gas. i don't know how much further i could have gone before the gas light came on, and even then you have a few gallons left.

    Amsoil 0w-20 is in

Well, I am glad to see you took the plunge, Buster. As you know, you and I have the same Accord with about the same amount of miles. I am glad you noticed the responsiveness and smoothness that I have (glad it wasn’t in my head). Anyway, just a little update. I live in Arkansas. The Accord is...

    10k Changes on Amsoil 0-20?

Don’t let the screen name fool you…no hype. The car has 60,000 miles on it...she drives far to work...mostly hwy. I have been running 10,000 mile OCI's from the beginning. I started off using Mobil 1 5w-20. Went two OCI's, and then switched to Amsoil 5W-20...no noticeable difference. I just...

    HELP! My wife screwed up!!!!

Uh, no, I didn’t do it, and then get on here and ask, thank you. My wife thought she was helping. I use WD-40 on many things it works great. Anyway, she only sprayed a quick mist. I got under there and rinsed with a water hose, wiped, and then rinsed again. I took it for a drive, and they seem...

    HELP! My wife screwed up!!!!

I got home from taking my wife’s car to the grocery store, and she said she had a surprise for me. She heard me say that I needed to get the rust under my truck off, and so why I was gone she got under there and sprayed WD-40. Now, this isn’t so bad, but then she said, “Your brakes looked really...

Break in oil in new Ford Ranger 4.0L

Why? I'd go with synthetic right up front. It won't hurt anything, so why wait? If it HAS to be a mineral oil, I'd suggest Havoline.

New Amsoil Synthetic 0W-20 Motor Oil

What will the price of this be for a preferred customer per quart?

    Amsoil 5W-20 XL versus ASL

Actually, the XL line doesn't claim to be 100% synthetic like the ASL does.

    Amsoil

I like ordering online, but the shipping does bother me. If I could get it at the local parts store that is real close to me, I would definitely buy it there to avoid the shipping charge, and make out better on my overall price. I was buying it from a parts dealer about 25 miles away, but the...

    Help Guys!!

Hi, guys. I was just finishing changing my wife’s oil (got new ramps yesterday!) on her 2005 Honda Accord 4c, and I noticed the puke tank was well below the Max line...it was right on the Min line. Now, in the manual it calls for Honda’s specific Antifreeze/coolant that is pre mixed with 50%...
