good, bad, ugly?
Looking for a new car. These look nice. Looking at a 5 speed, either an Si or a 4 door. What kinda mileage do these get in the real world?
If I'm reading that chart, it seems as if the Purolator PL30001 is the best filtering choice out there...
What about durability? I used to run fram filters before I split one.
I believe the MC was about #3.50 so roughly 30% of the cost.
Does anyone have PNs for the Pure One equivalent?
I also heard the the NAPA Gold is a good choice. Napa's aren't very close to me, but I know their air filters are hi quality.
The prices on these went up to $12.50 a pop around here. I would've still bought one, but they were out of stock.
I put a Motorcraft 3001 in my Jeep this time, but I was wondering what else is good? These are for 6 month oil changes, probably 6000 miles in a 4L Jeep Wrangler.
F.Y.I. I also...
I instructed my little brother and sister to check their's at each fill up because I'm guessing they'll only remember once in a while.

The 4wd will not be bothered by a 3, 4, or even 5/32s difference in tread depth.
One word of caution is that most tire shops will only do a 4 tire swap and anymore, most of them...
how does one know they should use Auto-RX. Do lots of people use it as a preventative measure or should I wait till I have the shudder, knocking or ticking problems to use it?
Sorry guys, I live in Germantown, TN
I've been running my TJ (which is now knocking on the door of 40k) on a steady diet of M1 10w-30 since 500 miles but I've now had two oil analysis done by blackstone and my iron is high, way high and I'm looking at other alternatives. Last analysis at 3500...
I'm wondering if anyone's tried this with success. I can get this oil really cheap, so I wonder if it's ok for year round use and 4k or so oil changes?
