Oil for MTD 11a-020l706 (20" push)

I use about two tanks of fuel (it has a .225 gal tank) to do the property. The day I buy premixed/precanned fuel at $28 per gallon is the day I stop changing my own oil and hire a caddy to carry my fishing rods. To be honest, I don't understand why this stuff sells. I go through two tanks of...

    2005 Audi A4 1.8t - Oil & Filter Recommendations

Taking over the changes on my girls convertible and wanted to ask everyone here what they suggest. String Trimmer (weedwacker) Line choices

I have recently purchased an Echo SRM-225 trimmer and was wondering what string you fellas are running. Getting into my lawn equipment more seriously, I noticed that my new trimmer came with "shaped" string as opposed to the round string I run on my old stihl (7 years). Though my stihl is a...

Going to go with some 5w30 pennzoil platinum full syn tonight and see how she runs tomorrow. Bubba and flight, appreciate the help in detail. Any other tips for keeping her and/or my weedwackers engines in top shape? JC

Oil for MTD 11a-020l706 (20" push)

Recently purchased this small MTD and an echo srm-225 trimmer to keep on site at one of my properties for grounds maintenance. Not having used anything other than commercial wright standers and scags (which I was/am not in control of maintaining) I have not cared much for small engines. This is...

From M1 HM to PU for Cleaning?

When I purchased my truck I had no idea how long the orange can of death or oil was in there. All other fluids looked great however. I ran mobil 1 5w20 full syn (which my v-8 consumed/weeped 1qt per 1000 miles) for the 4000 miles or so to "clean" things. When drained it, it "appeared"...

    Fleet/Work Truck Oil Change

I dont want to beat a dead horse here but the triton motors have notoriously narrow oil passages in the engine. I wouldn't run anything over 5-30.

Oil Rec - 5w30 for my 5w20 spec vehicle

2002 ford f-350 130k miles... Just wondering what the consensus is most recently with the changes to mobil super 5000. I plan on changing at 4-5k intervals Would prefer a syn blend if possible, and somthing along the "thin" line as far as 5w30's go. JC
