Trans/converter isn't shot, only 70K miles on it and fluid came out ok. Check out LS1.com and a few other sites and you'll see that Mobil 1 isn't good in any GM Hydramatic tranny, which the 4l60/80e are. Joe

How good is this ATF? It would be for a 95 Chevy Blazer with the 4L60E. Just filled it with 5 quarts of Mobil 1 ATF after I dropped the pan but hear that synthetic in this tranny causes excessive slip. Any reason not to keep draining and filling with the cheap Supertech ATF?

Look at the above, truck had a new crank and main bearings not to long ago. Joe

The oil looked good when I took it out, so I'm just going to attribute that to the switching containers. I will definatly test it again. Joe
