Coolant compatible with 2023 Hyundai Palisade

Thank you all of the responses. Hyundai, for having vehicles on the lower side of the cost spectrum, they make up for it with parts I guess. I gallon of coolant at the local dealers is about $50 out the door. Being cheap, I just splashed some of the Toyota stuff in there.

Ok so it meets Hyundai’s requirements that I posted? Just want to be sure.

Coolant compatible with 2023 Hyundai Palisade

I have a 2023 Hyundai Palisade with pink coolant. I lost a small amount of coolant during a repair and need to add a few cups to bring back to proper level. Not wanting to spend money if not necessary, dos anyone know if these other coolants from Toyota and MOPAR would be ok to use since I...

Considering these used cars as commuter

Thank you. I looked at serveral Fusions in the area, and every single one of them was a hot pile of garbage. I think ones in good condition are just getting hard to come by since they’ve been discontinued.

Considering these used cars as commuter

I ended up getting a 2020 Camry XSE with 36,000 miles from CarMax. One owner, well cared for, newer Michelin tires, service records documented in Toyotas database, etc. I definitely paid the CarMax premium, but feel I got a good car.

Considering these used cars as commuter

I know what you mean about resale value of used compare to just buying new. I saw that when I bought my Ram 2500. However, all of the local Toyota dealers with base level (LE) Camrys in stock have mandatory dealer options of about $3k. BS stuff. But one dealer has a 2023 Camry LE with 13k miles...

Considering these used cars as commuter

Agree, they are expensive. But seems to be par for the course in the area. And regarding a Tesla, my commute is 350+ miles each way, and don’t want to have to deal with charging during the commute.

Considering these used cars as commuter

I figured a newer low mileage vehicle would I figured that a newer, low mileage car would have more reliability, less squeaks and rattles, etc. plus I would want something that would be presentable in a business setting if I were to take out my employees or bosses in the car. I looked at the...

Considering these used cars as commuter

I commute from California to Phoenix a few times a month for work, and I’m looking for something that will be comfortable and reliable, and not break the bank. Here are a few options available locally that I am considering. I would appreciate thoughts regarding them for my purpose. All 3 are...

My 6.7 Cummins is having a daily regen. Do I need to worry about oil dilution?

There is a known issue whereby non-OEM air filters cause frequent regens anmd CEL’s especially in the 2022 and 2023 models. Something to do with overly restrictive filter media. Even MOPAR and the dealers are confused on the correct part number. Bottom line, you either want the MOPAR filter...

    Ram 2500 6.4 vs. F-250 7.3 Gas

With an apples to apples comparison between Ford and Ram, with the only big difference being the 7.3 vs the 6.4, I’d say no way. Not worth the premium for the Ford. Seems like you’re finding what I did. I got a Ram Cummins for the same price that I could have gotten a Ford 7.3. And got a higher...

    Ram 2500 6.4 vs. F-250 7.3 Gas

Between what I’ve seen of Ford dealers marking up their F250’s, and RAM dealers still taking several thousand off of MSRP, they may find that they can get a RAM 2500 with the Cummins for very close to what they can get a Ford 7.3 for. That was what I ended up with for that reason. I know this...

2020 Silverado 5.3 rental report. Ohhhh Boyyyyyyy :(

For the new T1 trucks, suspension is a very common complaint on the truck boards. Specifically, the factory shocks are well know to bounce and porpoise excessively.

2020 Silverado 5.3 rental report. Ohhhh Boyyyyyyy :(

Did the rental truck have the off-road Z71 package? My 2019 Sierra has the X31 package (same as Chevy Z71) with Rancho shocks. They’re pretty horrible. Bounce and porpoise like crazy. Many are replacing with Bilstein 5100’s and have better results. I hadn’t done so myself (yet).

    McKee’s Hydroblue

$1000 to correct a mess left from a ceramic “spray and rinse” product!!?? Somebody is taking you for a ride. I recently messed up applying a very similar product by doing it the sun. Yeah it was a mess and a bit of a pain in the butt to remove, but came off with relative ease when I hit it with...
