I have a 2023 Hyundai Palisade with pink coolant. I lost a small amount of coolant during a repair and need to add a few cups to bring back to proper level.

Not wanting to spend money if not necessary, dos anyone know if these other coolants from Toyota and MOPAR would be ok to use since I already have it? Both are also pink, although I know that doesn’t mean much.

Here’s what the Hyundai manual says.

Mixture of antifreeze and water (Phosphate-based Ethylene glycol coolant for aluminum radiator)

I’d use the Toyota stuff. The Koreans are closer to the Japanese for fluid specs. Mopar coolant from what I’ve heard loves to go acidic when it gets older and it doesn’t like to be mixed with anything else.

on something that new just go with the OEM coolant from the dealer. Don’t mix any other OEM brand since there is no guarantee of compatibility. If you don’t want to buy the OEM Hyundai coolant then Prestone AMAM will work just fine.

Forgot to mention that if you intend to keep the ultra long life drain interval of the OE coolant, then you need to top of with the OEM coolant.

If you look up Valvoline's Zerex "Asian vehicle" offerings... red, blue, and green, despite the top of the label having different vehicle brands, on the back they all list literally all asian vehicles, and according to the Zerex product information, they're all identical, just dyed differently.

Based on that, in my personal opinion, I'd be comfortable using the Toyota coolant in your Hyundai. IF IT WAS MY CAR. But, it's a pretty new vehicle and my professional opinion, if you asked me which coolant to use, I'd advise you to go to the dealership and get the OEM one.

Thank you all of the responses. Hyundai, for having vehicles on the lower side of the cost spectrum, they make up for it with parts I guess. I gallon of coolant at the local dealers is about $50 out the door.

Being cheap, I just splashed some of the Toyota stuff in there.

KIA " Pink " should work and is reasonably priced at the parts department . Both are 50/50 and have the same ingredients .

Click on title of the thread below for comparison of both coolants .
