Second Gear syncro problems are Gone!! Amsoil MTG

Holy MOly. I was scared.... my 2nd gear Syncros were going bad.

I just put in Amsoil 75w90 MTG and the difference is unbelievable!!! 1st and 2nd gear shifts, which are usually vague, are silky smooth now with no gear grinding. I should of used this stuff a long time ago.

-1999 Hyundai Tiburon FX 5 speed gearbox
-102,000 miles (Not 120,000 like i mentioned before)

I used to have unknown Amsoil gearbox oil that made my gearbox very grindy. The oil before was Citgo 75w90. the Amsoil MTG Gl-4 is like a hot knife through butter. i love it!

I've had a lot of friends thinking that their Japanese designed 5 speeds were on the way out.

Mechanics keep putting GL-5 in a box that wants GL-4.

So what does the Amsoil MTG have in it that improves the shifts so much?

My Bronco has a touchy 1-2 shift, might have to try that stuff......

Shannow,,, you are spot on,,,,,even the nissan dealer uses GL-5 bulk oil ...... What fools.
