The Spin on adapter, then the 2 filter setup with the largest EAO filter and the middle sized Bypass filter.

At last, we will have empirical data from before and after a bypass setup!

Thanks StevieC....will you update in this thread?

That sounds like my setup. I run the Eao-26 spin on filter, and the EaBP-90 for the Bypass filter. I highly recommend adding a petcock to your bypass setup , it makes sampling a breeze.

I'm currently @ 71k miles. Next uoa will be @ 75k miles

Impressive. I like the custom bracket mount. I will need to do the same thing because of where I will need to mount mine.

Thanks for sending Imgur links!

UOA I did last year. (Sampled, not changed) Just wanted to add this here. Will add another one just before installing the bypass system but just to give you an idea of how the engine is on oil without bypass.

Shortly after this report the temperature sensor and thermostat failed. It's why KF Water test is a bit high and same with Nitration these should be closer to 0 in this engine but because it was running rich these were affected.

Have to echo this. Thats a great setup.

Before I install the bypass system I think I'm going to fill the engine with fresh 5w20 SSO and drive it around the block and empty it out. Then install the system with 2 new filters and fresh oil so that it's as clean as possible before starting the bypass filtration.

I will of course saved the drained SSO and use it in one of my dad's beaters.

Are you kidding? My 6.4L Mercedes OM906LA holds 7.7gal. "semi truck engines" (12-16L) hold 10-12.5 gallons.
