My real father and I go to Pymatuning Lake maybe 3 times a year and Lake Erie 2 times to fish for walleye, perch and pike. Speaking of this; what fish do you folks like to eat?

I personally like salmon and [censored] and perch

I wouldn't classify myself as a fisherman, though I do try and fish as much as I can throughout the summer. Didn't get a heck of a lot of time to go this summer or last. Generally catch smallmouth bass, Northern Pike and Pickerel/Walleye. We have lake trout and muskie as well, though the aforementioned three are the most common where our cottage is.

We've cooked up the pickerel and it is excellent.

Used to fish more often, salt water, from old bridges & surf.

For eating fish, I like red snapper & flounder best. I've eaten plenty of redfish, speckled trout, sand trout, & croaker with no complaints.

For both fin fish & shellfish I prefer wild caught to farmed, and fresh to frozen. Farmed domestic crawfish are OK by me, an exception.
