Yep..they get 1st place in the Rube Goldberg contest.

I've used this the last 17yrs:

OrangeX's Olympus Extra-Large Juice Press.
Mine's white though.
Great for a big batch of margaritas.
Easily juices limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruit, apples and pomegranates. Even removes the seeds.
This things a beast. No batteries required and unhackable.
Analog wins again....

This has nothing to do with over engineering and everything to do with an attempt to create and exclusive and fancy looking juicer that from the looks of it, only works with one type of package. Similar to what the single serve coffee machines are doing now, where a simple coffee press makes a much better coffee.

People dig fancy.

the Red Line of juicers...

at least it's not cheap junk sold for too much, you actually get something that was will last, and is rebuildable/repairable if it ever fails

I wouldn't be in the market for a pack juicer though, and I have a fresh produce juicer.

You are wrong!, any home without a nuclear powered juicer will not work!

And don't get me started on the inadequacy of nutcrackers that the stores are selling to consumers these days.

Is there anything about these juice packs that make them better than making your own juice at home?
